Certification proves your ability to apply your new skills successfully to real world applications. If you have learned an Autodesk software tool, and practiced using for at least 150 hours, you are ready to follow the steps below to take a certification exam.
First, create a Certiport Test Candidate account:
- Go to www.certiport.com - if you are new to Certiport begin by creating a new Certiport Test Candidate account by clicking on the Register tab in the top right-hand corner of the page.
- Follow the User Registration steps, completing all of the required fields on the Welcome to Certiport, Account Setup, Personal Information, Profile, Choose A Purpose, and Summary pages. Once you have finished entering your information, your account should be complete.
Next, find a testing center near you and to schedule your exam:
- Use the Certiport Authorized Testing Center Locator to find a testing center in your area.
- Enter your location, select the Autodesk exam you would like to take, and click Search.
- After reading the pop-up text, click Continue to Results.
- Review the testing centers near you to determine where you would like to take your Autodesk certification exam.
- Call the listed number for the testing center and inform the representative that you want to redeem your test voucher. Remember to ask whether any additional proctoring fees apply. Your representative will then help schedule a date and time for your Autodesk exam.
Test Day
On test day, please arrive to the testing center 10 minutes early. Bring your certification exam voucher number. You will be asked to enter your Certiport username and password that you created with your account.
Once you arrive at your testing workstation, you will need to enter your login information and select your exam. When the system asks you if you have a voucher, answer, Yes, then enter the voucher number exactly as you received it. The test Proctor will come by to enter their username and password before you can begin taking the exam.
